Ich mag / mochte sehr gerne die aktuelle britische Adaption von Sherlock Holmes in das 21. Jahrhundert.
Und nun ohne tolle Überleitung direkt zu dem Grund meines Posts…

Man kann die 3 Folgen der Filme noch 1 Tag lang mit dem BBC iPlayer HD umsonst ansehen.

Ich schreibe hier jetzt nicht über die Serie. Erstens habe ich gerade keine Zeit, und zweitens sollt ihr euch selbst ein Bild machen. Ich fand sie jedenfalls sehr gut.. Von der Presse Seite: Benedict Cumberbatch (Small Island, Starter For Ten) and Martin Freeman (The Office, Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy) star in Sherlock, a thrilling, fast-paced update of Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic detective, set in present-day London, for BBC One.

Direkt repostet von aptgetupdate.de, weil es auch 2 meiner Lieblingsspiele sind welche gerade umsonst angeboten werden…

Eines meiner Lieblingsspiele gibt es derzeit für lau und deshalb auch hier der Hinweis auf Touch Racing Nitro. Die Steuerung ist stark gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber auch recht innovativ, wie ich finde. Man muss sich und dem Spiel schon ein wenig Zeit geben. Nach der Eingewöhnungsphase und wenn man es drauf hat, das Auto mit beiden Daumen zu steuern, macht es unglaublich viel Spass.

Wenn es noch nicht hat und einen Kaufgrund für den 2. Teil sucht, der sollte sich unbedingt Dark Nebula ansehen und es schnell laden, denn dieses gibt es kurzfristig umsonst. Dark Nebula 2 ist auch eine Empfehlung wert, spielt sich aber genauso schnell durch. Leider. Jetzt heißt es wieder warten auf Teil 3 ;)

[From Freebies: Touch Racing Nitro, Dark Nebula]

Zero apps, iPhone iPhone

This is great! Photographer Jordan Hollender and musician Scott Harris put together this music video that covers Survivor’s classic anthem and uses only iPad apps as instruments. The video itself was recorded with a couple of Canon HDSLR video cameras, but as you can see in the embedded version above, all of the music is created with iPad apps. Unfortunately, they don’t identify the apps used, but that sounds like a great job for you TUAW commenters. I think I saw Pianolo HD being played on the floor there, and Pocket Drums is being used as percussion, but I couldn’t find the guitar app or the DJ app that they are using.

Of course, what I really want to know is where he got that sweet lightning bolt iPad strap. The video’s great, though. Apparently it was all lit in one day and shot in another. There’s no word on how long it took to make the song, but with the iPad involved, it was probably both magical and revolutionary.
