Google hat heute sein “Nexus One” Telefon vorgestellt. Es kostet $529 oder ab $179 mit t-mobile Vertrag…

The Nexus One runs on Android 2.1, a version of the platform’s Eclair software, which offers advanced applications and features including:

If you’re down with the latest freshness, like we know you are, you’ll already be aware of light writing and the radical imagery that can be created through the use of long camera exposures and stop motion animation. Well, get ready to do your thing with even more style, thanks to the Halo LED spraycan — a DIY project by Aissa Logerot — which not only looks like the primary tool of al fresco art, it even recharges itself when shaken. While not quite as sophisticated as the Light Lane, this definitely makes our list of light-based paraphernalia we’d like to see more of. Instead of hiding your outlets behind furniture and worrying about the mess of wires tangled behind your entertainment center, consider making an entire wall that’s nothing but outlets. Then you can artfully plug in your appliances wherever the cords look pleasing to you.
magine no more crowded outlets or multi-plug adapters.
Of course you don’t have to actually wire all the outlets on the whole wall for electricity, but you’d better come up with a good way to remember which ones are live.

Das neue iPhone 3GS ist ab Heute bei T-Mobile Deutschland vorbestellbar…
Die Tarife finden sich hier auf der T-Mobile Seite (hier).
Allerdings ist nur der Complete-L Tarif gut… sonst haltet euch lieber an die “versteckten” Complete 60-1200 Tarife mit Freiminuten!
Wer von seinem alten iPhone upgraden möchte, muss mindestens 12 Monate seines bestehenden Vertrags “abgesessen” haben, und zahlt 25€ pro Restmonat…

Transformer Mäuse und USB Sticks! Hier gibts noch mehr, alle zum vorbestellen, ab 49$
Mein 4 jähriger Neffe kommt jeden Tag mit einem neuen Transformer an, und zeigt voll Enthusiasmus in was sich das Ding transformt… Er kann auch die Titelmelodie der Serie singen und behauptet wenn er ein Flugzeug am Himmel sieht, das es wahrscheinlich ein Decepticon ist… (Natürlich weis er auch den Namen des Flugzeugbots, aber ich kann mir sowas nicht mehr merken…)
Von seinem Dad der ebenfalls ein Fan ist, bekommt er übrigens nur die alte “pedagogisch wertvolle” Fernsehserie von 1984 aus der DVD Box vorgesetzt und ich glaube es wird nicht mehr lange dauern bis mein Neffe seinen ersten Computer bekommt, nur damit Simon ihm dieseTransformierende Maus und den USB Stick dazu kaufen kann…
From Engadget: If you missed out on your chance to add a little Decepticon flare to your PC with the Ravage USB flash drive earlier this week, you’d better hurry and put in your pre-order for this Trypticon Transforming Laser Mouse. In disguise he looks like a particularly non-ergonomic way to control your computer, but in just a few seconds he transforms into… well, a pretty sad, skinny looking rendition of the Decepticon command base. He may have lost weight, but he certainly hasn’t dropped any perceived value, available now on pre-order for a somewhat pricey $59.99. He also ships in September, and despite his cost we wouldn’t be surprised if that “Add To Cart” button transforms into a “Sold Out” button right quick. When oh when will the Autobots show up to save us from these evil USB gadgets exploiting our childhood memories? Update: We got a comment from awa64 that there are a few other devices in disguise available for pre-order, including a few Autobots. Go get clicking if you want one, but we’re holding out for an Optimus Prime uninterruptible power supply.
Tony Hawks Ride

Ein Video über das Gameplay des neuen “Tony Hawks: Ride”, welches mit einem neuen Skateboard Controller gespielt wird…
From Engadget.com: We’d heard rumblings that Tony Hawk was working on something with motion controls — which seems only natural after EA’s Skate hit the scene with its intuitive Flickit control scheme, and Shaun White’s game put the Wii’s Balance Board to good use, both making the Tony Hawk method of arcade-style button mashing feel a little dated. Well, Tony’s new Ride is looking to change all that, with a skateboard peripheral that looks like… a skateboard. Balancing, leaning and grabbing would be in, while Christ Air-ing your little sister in the face wouldn’t go over so well. According to the man himself, Hawk is quite good at the game, and skateboarders should find the transition easy. A promo video is here, and apparently on June 2nd we’ll be seeing this thing in action.
About the Video: Turns out the motion controls are quite detailed, and in advanced modes even allow for in-place 180s, but nothing seems to involve lifting the board actually off the ground. Grabs can be performed by actually grabbing the edge of the board, with infrared sensors picking up your hand position, and pushing is performed by running your foot along the side of the board. Ollies and flip tricks are obviously going to be a bit different than the real deal, while manuals and steering are pretty much spot on, and apparently there’s a lot of choice as to how much “realism” you’d like in controlling the thing. Tony Hawk also sees the controller as a “standard,” which could work with snowboarding games, surfing games, exercise games and other assorted cash cows for Activision.

Ihr mochtet doch den Rubiks Cube Cheater für das iPhone… Hier der passende Würfel für den modebewussten Nerd!

Schluss damit! Auf der 2009er Spielzeugmesse in New York präsentiert die Firma TechnoSource ihren Rubiks Touch Cube.
Er besteht aus beleuchteten Touchscreens, hat ein Accelerometer damit man nur die Seite dreht, die oben liegt und kostet nur 149$
Ausserdem kann er Tipps zum nächsten Zug geben, hat eine Undo Funktion die sich alle Schritte merkt die man (falsch) gemacht hat, und beim ausschalten speichert er seine Positionen zum späteren weiterspielen.

Dieses US Army M110 Sniper Rifle ist mit einem iPod Touch und dem Programm “BulletFlight” external ballistics calculator ausgestattet. (Über den iTunes App Store für 9,99€ zu erhalten)
Mit wenigen angaben wie Windstärke, Wetter und Reichweite zeigt es einem, auf wie viele Klicks man sein Zielfernrohr zu stellen hat, und (dank Accelerometer) in welchem Winkel man das Gewehr halten muss, damit man sein Ziel akkurat trifft…
Laut Beschreibung des Programms: “… mIt Vorgefertigten Profilen für das “M110 semi-auto Präzisionsgewehr”, dem “14,5 Zoll SR16 Rifle” und dem “KAC ODW” erlaubt es einem, sofort zu starten… ” – Scheint, als wären diese 3 Modelle weit verbreitet und üblicherweise in jedem Haushalt zu finden… Wer also noch Heute sein iPhone an eines seiner 3 Gewehre klebt, schreibt bitte seine Erfahrungsberichte in den Comments…

Dank T-Mobile könnt ihr das wunderphone Heute schon ausprobieren… Sowohl mit einer 360 Grad Ansicht, als auch mit einem System Emulator. Er ist in Flash, und ihm fehlen auch sicherlich einige Funktionen (Programme und der Entriegelknopf), aber um sich mal das Android anzusehen, reicht es…

Ein neuer Nintendo DSi wurde angekündigt… Der schicke Gamer Handheld ist die 3. Edition der DS Serie, und kommt in edlem Schwarz und Weiß in die Läden…
Er ist 12% dünner als der Lite, er hat keinen GBA Slot mehr, dafür internen Speicher. Die Screens sind größer, ausserdem eine 3 Megapixel Kamera an der Aussenseite, und eine kleinere in der Innenseite.
Dazu wird es den “DSi Shop,” geben, welcher Programme als Download verkauft (verbunden per Wlan).
Im Paket ist das “DS Ware” Spiel, ein Browser und 1000 Nintendo Punkte für den Shop enthalten. (Preise wahrscheinlich wie Xbox Live, 200, 500 und 800 Punkte für ein Spiel, 100 Punkte sind ca. 1€).
Zunächst wird das Gerät in Japan am 1. November für ca. 127€ veröffentlicht, und im nächsten Jahr dann im Rest der Welt…
